Hummus is a delicious dip made with fresh chickpeas that are cooked and mashed to become a purée. Tahina and spices are then added to this purée to form our healthy Hummus. It is served as an appetizer and dip with tortilla chips or crackers. In the Mediterranean cuisine, it is also consumed as part of a meze or as an accompaniment to some dishes such as grilled chicken or meat.
